The statistics are just staggering. Block
Island is just seven miles long and three miles
wide, but with all its nooks and crannies,
it totals 17 miles of sandy beaches. It's only
12 miles or so from Montauk and 150 miles from
New York City, but countles miles away from
both in terms of lifestyle.
