Beautiful Milford refers to itself as “A Small
City with a Big Heart.” With a population of
approximately 50,000, it is the sixth oldest
town in Connecticut. In reality it isn't that
small, if you consider the tranquil sail into
the quiet harbor that covers about seventeen
miles of coastline on the Long Island Sound.
Once inside the harbor, there awaits a friendly,
low-key but sophisticated city, with all of the
amenities a traveler could wish for.
