You’ll know you’ve reached Vineyard
Haven simply by the lighthouses. On one side,
you’ll have the East Chop light. On the
other, you’ll have the West Chop. Each
stands atop a hill and each overlooks the approach
to Vineyard Haven. At night, their beams will
guide you to port. By day, their bright white
towers will serve as your guides.
Where they’ll guide you into is another
story.
